Monthly items: buy & renew
The same item power, for a limited time. Learn how to buy it, check its expiry and keep it active.
What makes an item monthly?
A monthly item has the same stats and effects as its corresponding permanent version. You rent it instead of owning it permanently, making access more affordable.
Look for Monthly Item at the bottom of the tooltip. Items without this monthly label are permanent. The usual duration is 30 days; always check the duration written on the item.

Renew price
Where do I buy one?
Visit the monthly item vendors. These screenshots show the Monthly Set Shop in Orgrimmar. Choose the matching armor tier and check the item’s class, level and VIP requirements before buying.
Buying charges your account Credit automatically. In the example, an 8-Credit purchase reduces 86 to 78. The activation message shows the remaining balance and exact expiry, not the item price.
Check your active items
Right-click the Hearthstone in your bag.
Renew one item
Renew before the item expires. Viewing an item is free; Credit is charged only after you choose renewal and accept its confirmation.
Select View / Renew. Click its link in chat to check the item, then choose Renew This Monthly Item. Only this item will be renewed.
Renew everything on this character
Choose Renew All Monthly Items in the list. Review the combined cost and duration in the confirmation, then accept to renew all active, renewable items on this character. Cancel makes no change.
Remaining time is never replaced by a fresh countdown. Each item gains its configured duration from its existing expiry. For a 30-day item with 12 days left, renewal leaves 42 days.
More items & expiry
If the rental expires, the item is removed. To obtain it again, buy it at the full purchase price. Can’t find an active item? Check the next menu pages.
